Description
The existing Macquarie University Building Y3A was built in 1988 for the Australian Film and Television School (AFTRS). It is now used for Film and Television courses run by Macquarie University, as well as other external tenants and the Simulation Hub. The building was served by 3-off water cooled reciprocating chillers which has reached the end of their economic life was are due for replacement.
CJP was involved with the replacement of existing chillers, boilers and associated pumps to provide over 800 kW of cooling capacity as well as a detailed BMCS upgrade and associated system recommissioning.
