Macquarie University W10A Pool Ventilation Replacement
This project was initiated to replace the deteriorated 25m Pool Enclosure Exhaust Ductwork located behind the sliding doors at the rear of the 25m pool enclosure in the W10A Building of Macquarie University. The Pool Complex was constructed in 2005 and the material chosen for the ductwork has proved to be completely unsuitable and has deteriorated to the point of being structurally unsound and in danger of collapsing.
Due to the type of facility, one side of the existing exhaust system had to remain in service until the first half of the exhaust system has been replaced & commissioned to allow continuous operation of the 25M pool ventilation system & compliance with NSW Department of Health requirements for the operation of indoor swimming pools.
CJP has provided detailed design on the pool ventilation system to replace the existing exhaust system.
